For our location in Freiburg in Breisgau, we are looking for a skilled Senior Engineer (m/f/d) to join our ProCon Engineering Team and help drive the transition from R&D to pilot production for our APCVD tool.

Your Mission
- Lead the development and optimization of the APCVD pilot production tool and processes.
- Plan, execute, and analyze experiments to improve process stability, yield, and cost efficiency.
- Develop and continuously improve work instructions, SOPs, and documentation for pilot and production use.
- Collaborate closely with the design engineering team to identify and implement machine improvements.
- Interface with the characterization team to validate process results and drive data-based decision-making.
- Work with the maintenance team to resolve technical issues across equipment and process levels.
- Ensure alignment with safety, quality, and operational standards throughout development activities.
Your profile
- Degree in Physics, Chemistry, or related field.
- 6-8 years of experience as a production engineer or R&D specialist.
- Strong background in one or more deposition technologies: ALD, CVD, PECVD, epitaxy.
- Clear and effective communication skills across cross-functional teams.
- Fluent in English; German is a plus.
