Ihre Aufgaben
As the Engineering Team Manager - Hardware & Firmware, you will lead the team responsible for developing and maintaining ADDI-DATA’s electronic and embedded products, from concept through production release. You will structure the team, strengthen engineering practices, and ensure reliable delivery of new features and products.
Your mission include:
- Lead, organise, and grow the Hardware & Firmware engineering team.
- Build and maintain a realistic quarterly roadmap aligned with Product, QA, Production, and Service.
- Recruit, mentor, and develop engineers across all seniority levels.
- Oversee product development from concept to production: schematics, PCB layout, firmware, drivers, testing and validation.
- Ensure quality, compliance, and delivery of all engineering outputs (EMC, safety, industrial robustness).
- Manage sustaining activities: bug fixes, redesigns, obsolescence, customer issues.
- Run engineering processes: design reviews, code/firmware reviews, simulations, prototyping, V&V.
- Guarantee traceability from requirements → Jira → implementation → tests → release.
- Enforce disciplined workflows (daily commits, Jira updates, documentation, versioning).
- Drive engineering standards and define methods, test protocols, and documentation rules.
- Track KPIs and improve productivity, quality, and team efficiency.
- Identify risks early and provide mitigation plans; prevent shortcuts or uncontrolled releases.
- Support cross-functional teams (Production, Sales, Service, Supply Chain) as internal customers.
- Provide technical support for presentations, demos, and customer escalations.
- Promote innovation (advanced DAQ, edge computing, AI-driven methods) and maintain technical expertise.
Your skills
Training and experience
- 8-12 years in engineering with team management.
- Proven ability to lead and scale teams (~10-15 engineers).
- Experience structuring processes, QA, industrialisation, and certification.
- Ability to drive quarterly and multi-product roadmaps.
- Strong cross-functional leadership across Product, QA, Production, Service.
- Track record in scaling R&D organisations and improving delivery performance.
Core skills
- Strong leadership: ability to organise, grow, and structure an engineering team.
- Solid technical background in electronics, firmware, and embedded systems.

As a Embedded Software Engineer, you will take ownership of the design, development, and continuous improvement of our real-time drivers and FPGA logic. Your mission is to ensure seamless interfacing between acquisition hardware and host systems while driving performance, robustness, and reliability.
You will:
- Develop and maintain real-time drivers in C/C++ to connect acquisition hardware with host systems.
- Integrate software and hardware architectures (FPGA, microcontrollers, acquisition boards) to deliver complete solutions.
- Build low-level configuration and visualization tools to support testing, debugging, and driver diagnostics.
- Optimize real-time performance with strict adherence to latency, determinism, and robustness constraints.
- Develop test and validation tools to ensure the reliability of drivers and the entire acquisition chain.
- Document architectures, APIs, and hardware/software interfaces for maintainability and knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate closely with hardware and systems teams, acting as a technical reference within the team, mentoring juniors, and proposing improvements to tools and processes.
Your role goes beyond delivery: you will contribute to continuous improvement, act as a subject-matter expert, and influence broader engineering practices across teams.

- Master's degree or engineering school
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience, excluding internships and apprenticeships.
Core skills
- C, C++ (embedded, low-level)
- Driver development concepts: DMA, interrupts, memory mapping, register-level programming
- Windows and Linux driver development (kernel modules, device drivers)
- Communication buses: UART, SPI, I²C, PCIe, Ethernet
- Testing methodologies: unit, functional, performance, security testing
- CI/CD pipelines and Git (configuration, branching strategies, code reviews)
- Strong understanding of hardware/software interaction (real-time constraints, timing, synchronization)
Training and experience
- Python (test automation, tooling, prototyping)
- VHDL (FPGA design & verification)
- Industrial communication protocols: Modbus, EtherCAT, Profinet, etc.

As a Technical Sales Engineer, you will drive the development of ADDI-DATA’s business by managing customer relationships from deal closing through long-term account development. Your mission is to ensure customer success while generating sustainable revenue through the sale of products, services, and support solutions. Your role goes beyond closing deals: you contribute to continuous improvement, act as a trusted partner for customers, and actively strengthen ADDI-DATA’s reputation and long-term presence in the market.
You will:
- Own deal closing and manage customer accounts across your assigned territory
- Develop and sell service lines, including support contracts, maintenance, and services
- Act as the primary technical and commercial contact for customers
- Support customers throughout the full project lifecycle, from solution definition to deployment
- Perform regular customer visits and represent ADDI-DATA on-site
- Represent ADDI-DATA at trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events
- Coordinate with Support, R&D, and Operations to ensure timely and high-quality customer responses
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities and contribute to account growth
- Maintain accurate reporting on opportunities, forecasts, and customer activities
