Lead Engineer (Databricks & DBT) - 4+ months - Remote - Start ASAP

For our international client, we are looking for an experienced Lead Engineer with focus in Databricks and DBT.
Your main task is to support the client in a POC (proof of concept) in the design and implementation of Databricks and DBT (Data Build Tool).

Tasks

• Support client in POC for Databricks and DBT
• Gather requirements
• Work on Design phase of Databricks and DBT
• Help with set up of Databricks and DBT
• Set up guidelines and standards for POC
• Implementation of POC for Databricks and DBT
• Best practice advise
• Regular communication between business, IT and vendor

Requirements

• Longterm project experience in implementing Databricks and DBT (Data Build Tool)
• Strong project experience as Engineer
• Strong experience in design of Databricks AND DBT
• Project experience in configuration and development of DBT models
• Project experience in setting up guidelines and standards in Databricks and DBT
• Proven implementation experience in Databricks and DBT
• Project experience in international projects and design of global solutions
• Nice to have: Experience in supporting in POC projects
• Fluency in English

Project details:

• Start: ASAP (September)
• Duration: 4 months (+ option to extend)
• Workload: 5 days per week
• Location: 100% Remote (CET Time zone)
• Languages: Fluency in English
