To support our growing IT team in Karlsruhe, we’re looking for you - full-time (40h) and on a permanent basis - as an IT Security Specialist (m/f/d).
As our IT Security Specialist (m/f/d), you’ll play a key role in keeping our digital landscape secure and stable.

Your mission

• You detect security risks early and actively protect our systems against cyber threats.
• You develop and implement internal security standards together with the team.
• You advise departments on secure applications and legal security requirements.
• You analyze risks, conduct audits, and support our emergency and risk management.
• You continuously improve our information security and business continuity.

Your profile

• You have a degree or training in IT and 5-8 years of relevant experience ideally in ITSecurity, IT Governance and IT risk management.
• You’re familiar with security standards like ISO/IEC-27000 or BSI IT-Grundschutz.
• You have hands-on experience with networks, firewalls (e.g. Sophos, Unifi), and cloud applications.
• You work independently, communicate clearly, and enjoy collaborating with others.
• You think analytically, stay calm under pressure, and take a solution-oriented approach.
• You have strong German and English skills to complete your profile.
