For our location in Freiburg in Breisgau, we are looking for a HSE Manager (m/f/d) - Part-time.

At NexWafe, we are developing a pioneering process to produce silicon wafers for PV applications with fewer process steps, leading to significant reductions in production costs, energy consumption, and CO₂ emissions.

Your Mission

  • Development, implementation, and monitoring of HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) guidelines; assistance in auditing and certifying HSE systems.
  • Preparation of authorization documents for authorities in new projects; responsibility for authority management during ongoing operations.
  • Conduct internal audits and support HSE management tours.
  • Responsible for training to implement the company's emergency response plan.
  • Support external HSE audits - Coordinate all matters with landlord.
  • Responsibility for risk assessments and hazard analyses within the company.
  • Training and educating employees on safety and environmental protection issues; enhancing awareness of safety regulations.

Your profile

  • Completed degree (Bachelor or Master) in Process Engineering or similar qualifications.
  • Professional experience (approx. 3 years) in HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) management in the industry, preferably in the fields of photovoltaics or semiconductors.
  • Solid knowledge of legal regulations and industry standards in the field of health, safety, and environmental protection.
  • Excellent written and spoken German and very good English.
  • Proven experience in successful project management.
  • Good understanding of legal requirements, norms, and regulations.
  • Strong team player.
  • Excellent communication skills.
