Your tasks
The position will be filled at the site of our partner company BBS Automation in Großwallstadt.
- You will be responsible for software adaptations for system conversions/optimizations as well as inspections and maintenance on our customer's systems on-site
- In the case of major conversions, you will be responsible for the development and creation of new PLC programs for our existing systems and subsequent commissioning, testing, optimization and adjustment
- On a day-to-day basis, you will carry out diagnoses and rectify faults
- As the central technical contact for our customer on site, clarify technical details and provide advice as required
- In the course of system conversions/optimizations, you will work closely with the electrical hardware design department
- You will carry out qualification tests as part of the projects
- After successful commissioning, you will train the customer's machine operators in the use of the software
- You will be on call (within regular working hours), the position does not involve travel
Your profile

- You have completed training as an electronics/mechatronics technician, further training as a technician, a degree in electrical engineering or comparable training
- In the course of your career, you have gained in-depth knowledge of PLC programming with Beckhoff TwinCat 2/3, and troubleshooting
- You have sound experience in the electrical installation of machines and systems
- Ideally, you already have professional experience in the field of drive technology
- You are characterized by a structured and independent way of working, a confident manner and strong team skills
- Very good German and good written and spoken English skills round off your profile
