Chief Marketing Officer (m/f/d)
Job Description:
Our client, a leading B2B digital solutions provider, is seeking a driven and dynamic Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to join them at one of their German offices. The CMO is responsible for defining and executing a group-wide marketing strategy that strengthens the company’s positioning as a leading digital transformation partner. Reporting directly to the CEO, the CMO drives brand visibility, demand generation, and pipeline generation to support profitable growth in priority industries and markets, ensuring strong alignment between marketing, sales, and corporate strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a group-wide marketing strategy aligned with growth objectives.
- Strengthen the company’s positioning and identify market trends in key solutions and technologies.
- Support expansion into new industries and regions.
- Lead corporate brand strategy and ensure consistent messaging across countries.
- Elevate the company’s visibility as a trusted partner.
- Align employer branding with People strategy to support talent acquisition.
- Oversee PR, thought leadership, events, and industry presence.
- Drive B2B demand generation strategies (digital campaigns, content marketing, ABM).
- Strengthen collaboration between Marketing and Sales to improve qualified pipeline generation and conversion.
- Implement scalable lead management and marketing processes aligned with the sales cycle of complex B2B services.
- Optimize marketing contribution to pipeline development and revenue growth.
- Lead digital marketing strategy.
- Improve online visibility and performance across markets.
- Leverage data, analytics, and modern tools (including AI) to increase marketing effectiveness and efficiency.
- Promote industry-specific marketing strategies.
- Support customer success storytelling and case studies.
- Position the company as a strategic advisor in digital transformation.
- Build and lead an international marketing organization.
- Manage group marketing budget and performance metrics.

Requirements
- Experience shaping market positioning, industry marketing, or category leadership in complex B2B environments.
- Innovative and creative mindset with the ability to translate market insights into clear strategic positioning.
- Experience applying modern marketing tools and AI to improve marketing effectiveness and operational efficiency.
- Proven track record in international B2B services marketing and demand generation.
- Experience working in matrix and multi-country organizations.
- Data-driven and commercially focused mindset with strong orientation toward pipeline development and business impact.
