We are looking for you to support our approximately 3000 server and network devices (growing rapidly) in our data centers in Frankfurt aM. You can expect an exciting range of tasks, a dynamic environment and a culture that values new ideas, initiative and the ability to cooperate.
Tasks
- Installation, support and repair of servers, blades, storages and network switches in our high-performance data centers.
- Cabling of various IT and network components in the copper and fiber optic area.
- Active efficiency optimization of our data center, through server moves, rebuilds and defragmentation measures.
- On-site stock management and optimization of spare parts stocking.
- Maintenance of our documentation and expansion of our knowledge database.
Qualifications
- You are trained in the field of IT systems electronics, IT systems integration or possess comparable hardware-related training. Alternatively, you've already got several years of experience working with IT components and networking equipment in data centers.
- Solid hardware knowledge, including practical experience in handling sensitive electronic equipment.
- Basic knowledge of Linux and Windows, including scripting and networking.
- A high level of commitment and to enjoy working in a dynamic team.
- To be reliable and to act in a confident manner during stressful situation
- Fluent communication in English and German.
- A valid driver's license (Class B) is mandatory.
