Why we are looking for support
We are looking for a motivated Working Student to support our Quality Assurance (QA) team in software development projects. This role is perfect for students interested in software testing, software development processes, and ensuring high-quality products. You will gain hands-on experience in QA practices, test automation, and software lifecycle management.
Please note that you need to be enrolled as a student for minimum 2 more semester with a valid Immatrikulationsbescheinigung.
Your tasks
- Assist in designing, executing, and maintaining manual and automated test cases.
- Support QA activities across the software development lifecycle.
- Identify, document, and track software defects and work with development teams to resolve them.
- Help implement and improve QA processes, testing strategies, and best practices.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other team members to ensure product quality.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of software development and QA/testing concepts.
- Familiarity with programming languages (e.g., Java, JavaScript) is a plus.
- Knowledge of testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JIRA, TestRail) is a bonus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills in English; German language skills are a plus.
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently.
